When I was 12 I remember going to career day in school and telling everyone I wanted to be a software engineer. Most of my classmates looked at me funny before asking me what that was. Today thats exactly what I am. Most of my freetime I liked modifying games, modding devices or making my own small software projects. Growing up in New Hampshire also gave me my fair share of of fishing, off roading and small town living. Today I live in Austin Texas and work for a finacial company along with my own side businesses in my free time. I am also working on my private pilots license, and take Krav Maga classes during the week nights.

What I Do
Jan 2019 - CurrentAutoBuy LLC
Although I have many other side projects this is one of my biggest and longest running.
AutoBuy is an e-commerce platform I built from scratch which makes it easy for merchants to sell digital goods.
It provides a licensing system, api, simple checkout flow and an in house cryptocurrency processing system.(More on the portfolio page)
May 2021 - CurrentPrivate Fintech
Although my title is "backend developer" half of what I do is full stack work. This work includes developing new business critical internal products from scratch. The most notable projects I have devloped are a fraud tracking and management system, complaint management system, a redesign and port of our internal Call QA from .Net Framework MVC to .Net Core Blazor.
Back end work included automating processes. These processes include Importing data from partners and 3rd party sources like CFPB, TrustPilot, DecisionLogic and processing finacial and customer data to help categorize and provide insight into loan riskiness.
Feb 2020 - Mar 2021TeeTimeCentral
Full Stack .NET Developer
When I first arrived git repositories were not yet in use so that was my first priority. Once that was up and running my core responsibilities included adding features to our online golf booking website, cleaning up the database structure and onboarding new clients. In my final months before getting let go due to Covid, I developed an SDK to interface with local hotels to improve our online packaging.
2015 - 2018Best Buy
MECP Certified AutoTech
Original joined as a seasonal receptionist position and a few months later was offered a full-time position as a Geeksquad computer agent. After almost a year of diagnosing and solving clients computer problems they offered to sponsor me in training and certification to become an AutoTech.
As an AutoTech I was responsible for giving the customer a great experience from scheduling and purchase all the way through and after installation of their new remote start or audio systems. Although we were located inside of BestBuy we were our own mini department and I was responsible for everything that went on in the bay throughout the day including locking up before leaving. I came to learn that installing a remote start teaches you a lot about computer hardware and hacking and continue to use what I learned with my many arduinos and programming.
